I started this blog to discuss the journey I’m on as someone who is “new in Christ”. I began reading the Bible in June of 2007 and was overcome by God’s Word and the messages that He was giving to me. Later that month, I asked God to forgive my sins and for Jesus to come into my life and my heart, and for the Holy Spirit to guide me.
My wife and I just celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary on July 7, 2008. I’m looking forward to what God has in store for my wife and I as we journey through our new lives together and sharing that with all of you.
Welcome and God bless !

Joe, congrats on becoming both a follower of Christ and a husband.
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide you and your wife as you do God’s will.

I have been a Christian for a while, but I still feel so new in many ways. I feel like I am starting to “get” the Bible. I am reading it with new eyes.
We are all at different paths with our walk, but we can all learn from one another. Congrats on finding Christ and the blessings that he gives you, like marriage. I will add you to my blogroll!

Wow. Praise the Lord for His grace and mercy! You got married right after you got saved? That must have been a grand time for you two. I take it your wife is saved too? Many blessings to you both as you are guided and directed by His Spirit! Thanks again for commenting on my blog Joe.
Grace & Peace,
Roger
